In the regular care programs, the owner receives a very good weekly tuition rate, and charges for 52 weeks of care, but is actually closed 2 weeks during the Christmas Holidays. The center is located in a historically designated house that has been adapted and fully approved to meet all State Licensing requirements for use as a child care center. Competition:  

There is very little competition.  There currently are 3 other childcare centers in this community totaling 154 licensed spaces.  This center is not affected by the competition since it provides such a homelike atmosphere and has been in business for 20 years it has a very good following and is always full with a waiting list for upcoming available spaces.  

Growth/Expansion:  

There is currently a waiting list for infants and with advertising it is anticipated that if the center were expanded that these spaces would be able to be filled up quickly.  The Before &amp; After Care &amp; Summer Camp programs would also have much demand.


About Financing the Business Sale

The business is available for sale, and the property is available for lease or for sale, or for lease/purchase.  Financing for the purchase of the business can be arranged utilizing an SBA business loan program, but criteria on these loans have recently increased and the down payment can vary, and experience in the industry is necessary to be able to qualify.
